A little about Lisette ....
I have always held a profound love for the art and design and colour that exists simply and beautifully in nature. My happy childhood reminiscences of times spent with my creative mother in Mauritius invoke my imagination all these decades later. Those memories and impressions echo silently every time I envisage a new piece. It’s a piece of me, a piece of my inner history, a piece of how I see the world.
While I still work professionally in the corporate sphere, I spend much of my spare time escaping to an extraordinary mind space of peaceful and joyful creativity. I feed my soul with the striking tones and unique shades and shapes inspired by the tropical scenery of my childhood homeland as well as the breathtaking flora and fauna of Australia.
I hope the unbridled happiness and fulfillment that I experience when I make these expressions of personal art are also felt, again and again, by those who become their new owners.
